Heather Peake
Heather Peake is the Director of Growth Marketing at Hammonds Media & Marketing (HMM), a full-service digital marketing agency based in Norman, Oklahoma. She brings more than three decades of experience across nearly every level of business, from executive leadership to hands-on content creation. Her work has helped the companies she has served earn millions of dollars.
She started in technology as a Database Engineer and Global Technical Support Manager at MCI/WorldCom. She then led telecom operations at C. Crane Co. and moved up to Assistant Vice President and Call Center Director at Humboldt Bancorp. In 2003 she founded GladMind LLC (formerly Business byDesign), where she advises organizations on strategy and operations as Principal Consultant.
Heather also knows rental housing from the ground up. As General Property Manager at Erickson Management and Property Manager at Thompson Properties, she handled leasing, tenant relations, and building operations.
For nearly a decade she served as Property Management Consultant and Content Strategist at Rentec Direct. There she wrote research-backed guides for landlords and property managers on topics like trust accounting (the rules for holding tenant and owner funds separately).
